At rise above cancer, foundation, we are dedicated to supporting cancer patients, survivors and their families in meaningful ways. While we strive to provide assistance through our programs, the availability of support depends on funding, donations and resources. Our goal is to help as many people as possible, ensuring no one feels alone in their journey.
Cancer treatment often creates significant financial strain. Through this program, we provide assistance to help eligible cancer patients cover essential treatment related expenses that are not fully covered by health insurance. Support may include help with transportation to medical appointments and other necessary health related costs. Assistance is provided based on assessed need and is paid directly to service providers or provided through approved vouchers.
Good nutrition plays a vital role in the well‑being of people living with cancer. Subject to available resources, we provide nutrient‑dense food hampers or grocery gift cards to help patients meet their basic dietary needs during treatment. Our focus is on practical, everyday foods that support energy, strength and recovery.
We recognize that hair loss can be an emotional challenge for many undergoing treatment. Whenever possible, we provide wigs, scarves and caps to help patients feel more comfortable and confident. We will do our best to provide these items based on the resources available to us.
Our Resilience Circles are support groups for both survivors and those fighting cancer. They provide a safe and open space where individuals can share their experiences, receive support and find strength in a community that truly understands
We understand that cancer affects not only the person receiving treatment but also their family members and primary caregivers. Through this program, we offer support groups and simple information sessions to help caregivers and families cope with the emotional and practical challenges of supporting a loved one with cancer.
